Discovery Team Cycling - Basso

Ivan Basso is now a part of the Discovery Team Cycling team. He is on a two year contract with the team. I am completely stoked to have my favorite Italian Rider on Discovery. The Tour may be tarnished with scandal, but I am still looking forward to 2000 plus miles of the hardest sport on the planet!! I think Ivan riding with Discovery is great news for the sport.

Heroes

This show has all the qualities that make comics great - and it comes to life on the TV screen. As a bonus to an engaging story with all the great super archtypes, we get Tim Sale (Batman Dark Victory and others) creating the art for Isaac Mendez. I am drawn in each week to all the trial and tribulations of these involved characters. It is also a crossover hit for the non comic fans, thanks to that magic called drama which mere mortals are so drawn too!!

300 the Movie

I cannot wait for this movie, it looks stunning. I love dramatic battle sequences and this looks to be full of them. I am a fan of Frank Miller and have read 300, so I already know the story is sound. The www.300themovie.com site has some great video journals that show the making of the movie.
